so i think there are lots of opportunitieswe want to use to encourage people to use the cycle, because not only is itabout creating the infrastructure that people can use to get around borough, it's also about making people comfortable and used to cycling as a norm. and that means, if they've got a bike that's fine, if not, they can hire one, if they need training we can assist with training, it's making people ready for the road... ...and the road ready for them. so we're going to take a bit of time to make sure that people understand what we're doing
and genuinely have the ability toinfluence it. so to me, we're moving at the pace that works both for the authority, but also what's more important for theresident. we'll get it right. and that's, i think, more important than to do it quick.
